The Who, What, Where, When & Why of my fitness regime


The third in my series of work out basics, this video highlights another building block of fitness – the abdominal crunch.  

I often get asked, “How can I get abs like yours?”  In September, I posted “Abs Like That” with examples of abdominal exercises I do regularly.  Today I’m posting a simple first move, from which all the others should stem.  

*Lay flat on the mat

*Draw your belly button into your spine

*With short, small movements, contract your abdominal muscles, and lift straight to the ceiling

*Remember to breathe ;)
